Motivation
1. First of all let's introduce the topic through this interesting video. Watch the video and then in groups of four comment the most significant aspects and information required in order to record the weather forecast (as this will be your final product).
2. Now it is time to play a game about the weather in order to discover your previous knowledge and arise your interest in the task
Comprehension
3. Vocabulary presentation. This is a worksheet with all the vocabulary you will need in order to successfully complete all the tasks in this LS (SdA) about meteorology. Read it and add to your notebook all the useful words for your own video.
4. Then read the instructions for the next oral comprehension activity. Take your time and listen as many times as you need to develop the tasks.
5. After that it is time to start thinking about your own original video in groups of four people. Brainstorm different ideas for your weather broadcasting, the script for the tv presenters, the materials to use as a map (posters). You can do it digitally using tools such as mentimeter or analogically writing down your own notes.
